The author holds no license from Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission or any other regulator to provide securities or futures investment advisory services and does not engage in such business. This site charges no fees, receives no compensation, and accepts no donations, sponsorship, advertising or paid placements; the author has no employment, endorsement or other paid relationship with any financial institution.
2. There is no investment advice here. The content of this site is a general compilation of economic and market data and historical statistics. It is not advice tailored to you, and it gives no buy or sell advice on any investment. This site offers no individual investment consulting and does not manage money on anyone’s behalf.
3. Hot and cold describe historical position only. Hot and cold, being at an extreme, the overall reading and the four forces all describe where indicators stand within their own history. They are statistical descriptions after the fact, not forecasts and not trading signals; warm does not mean a fall is coming, and a far swing does not mean a quick swing back.
4. The historical record does not predict the future. “When it was here before”, “What happened next” and “Has hot or cold lined up with later returns?” are statistics calculated from past data by fixed rules; neighboring months are not independent events, and samples are limited. Past performance does not guarantee future results, and an index itself cannot be invested in directly.
5. Links are not proof of cause and effect. The mechanisms on link cards are common economic explanations, and the data tests show only whether the two positions moved together in the past. Links change over time, and this site lists the periods when they did not hold.
6. Investing always carries risk. Any investment can lose money, and you could lose some or all of the money you invest. This site compiles public data and analyses it; neither the data sources nor the analysis is guaranteed to be correct, and this site cannot guarantee that they are. Any decision you make based on this site, and its result, is your own judgment and your own responsibility, and neither this site nor the author accepts any liability for compensation. Where needed, consult a qualified professional.
7. The data may contain errors. The data on this site come from public sources (see Data sources and licenses) and are downloaded and calculated by software. The author makes every effort to check them but does not guarantee that they are complete, timely or correct. Data are published monthly and this site updates every two weeks, so there are delays; when sources revise their data, figures on current pages change too; archived issues stay as first published. Where this site differs from the original source, the original source prevails.
8. A public substitute is not the original indicator. Where an indicator’s license does not allow publication, this site uses public data instead and states how they differ: they measure similar things, but they are not the same number.
9. The views are the author’s own. The content of this site represents only the author, not the author’s employer or the position of any institution or organization. Institutions, indices and datasets are named only to cite sources; this does not mean they endorse or are connected with this site. Names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
10. Translation and jurisdiction. The English and Japanese editions are translated by AI and the Simplified Chinese edition is converted by software, so they may contain errors; where language editions differ, the Traditional Chinese edition prevails. This site is intended mainly for readers in Taiwan; readers in other countries or regions should check their local regulations.
11. External links. Other websites linked from this site are responsible for their own content; a link is not an endorsement or a guarantee.
12. No warranty, no liability for compensation. This site is provided as is, with no guarantee that its content is accurate, complete, timely or fit for any purpose. Neither this site nor the author accepts any liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the content of this site (including data errors, delays or interruptions).
