What this site does not do
- It uses no cookies.
- It has no traffic analytics, tracking or advertising code, and embeds no content from other sites; fonts, images, music and code are all hosted on this site.
- It requires no sign-in, has no forms, comments or membership features, and never asks you for personal data.
What stays only in your own browser
- Day and night modes: if you press the switch, your choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage), used only to remember the colors you prefer, and never sent anywhere.
- Background music: music is on by default; most browsers play sound only after your first click or key press. Your choice when you press the music button (on or off) is stored in your own browser (localStorage); the point at which playback resumes when you change pages is stored in sessionStorage and disappears when you close the tab.
Clearing your browser’s site data removes these records.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any website, when you connect, your browser passes connection information such as your IP address to the hosting service so that pages can be delivered and protected; this site does not separately log, analyze or keep this information. Cloudflare may also ask your browser to send it error reports when a connection fails (Network Error Logging).
External links
This site links to other websites, such as data sources and sister sites; once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
